Certificate II in Security Operations (CPP20207)

Course Objective: Designed to give you the correct mindset and confidence as well as the necessary skills to meet the licensing requirements to enter the security industry.

Course Fee $750.00.

Course Content Includes:

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (SITHFAB009A)

  • First aid 

  • Behavioural standards

  • Civil and criminal law

  • Recording procedures / and crime scene preservation

  • Licensing laws

  • Communicating effectively with clients and customers

  • Working as part of a team

  • Radio communications

  • Emergency evacuation procedures

  • Responsibilities under OH&S


External Course (Certificate II in Security Operations CPP20207)

An external study offers you an opportunity to complete your security course at a pace convenient to you. As you study each unit they will introduce you to the competencies required for the security industry. On completion of your external course you will be required to attend a minimum of 2 days face to face. Course fee includes Apply First Aid (Formerly known as Senior First Aid)

Course Fee $695.00 (GST Exempt).

Get the best training possible from South Australia’s accredited security canine trainer. This course will give you the full insight to canine handling in the security industry.

 

This competency standard covers the necessary skills and knowledge as well as the legislative requirements required to train and handle dogs used for security assignments.

Carefully trained and handled dogs are an indispensable part of the security industry and are used in almost every phase of security work from crowd control, patrolling, detection and counter terror work. 

Links Induction & Security Training Centre believes that utilizing the finest know-how in the field can make a big difference to canine Security operations.  

Goal: To focus on the role of handlers in security operations and improve canine team work. Upgrade the capabilities of handlers and their dogs, by exercising their typical and routine work.

By doing so, instructors will be able to correct common mistakes often been done by handlers. 

  • Bite work

  • Focusing on the correct use of the leash

  • Showing how to correct a dog

  • Demonstrating and how to correct handlers mistakes

  • Special aspects of canine conditioning


One Day Fire Safety / Warden Training Course

On completion of this course, participants will meet the requirements of S.A occupational health, safety and welfare regulations. Will understand the roles and responsibilities of staff and the emergency control organization as per. Australian standard AS 3745. They will identify classes of fire, select and correctly use portable fire extinguishers.
